The Magazine

Designed as reference material for the teacher for creative writing, that can be used during the course of the school year. It begins with pupils examining a typical general interest magazine. Once different topics are identified, pupils get the opportunity to design their own pages which are assessed and then put in a flip-file. Certain topics, like “Feature articles”, “Letters to the Editor”, “Fiction Story”, “Competitions”, “Contents” and “Cover Design” etc, will be prescribed and others will be the pupils’ own choices. The contents of this manual make some suggestions of pages that can be designed.

By the end of the year each pupil will have completed their own personal magazine.
